Historical Research

At MTS Heritage, we research Australia’s heritage so our future generations can connect with the past. Rigorous historical research underpins much of our work and informs our understanding of the significance of a place. We share our findings in accessible, practical and engaging ways.
History helps inform the planning and development approval process, including the design, management and interpretation of community assets.
Our historical research services are driven by a culture of curiosity, a desire to always be learning more, and a passion for sharing our knowledge and insight. We believe in our deep connection to place and its importance in understanding our shared human story.
